Umshiya Security Services is a 100% black-owned security company founded in 2012 for the purpose of offering enhanced private security solutions and special services to private businesses, public institutions, residential, commercial and industrial properties. The company also seeks to play a part in the fight against crime in communities, working together with law enforcement agencies.

​The company comprises a highly skilled management team and trained staff with a wealth of experience and knowledge pertaining to various aspects of the private security industry. Umshiya remains committed to providing outstanding service to all clients.

Umshiya Security Services is committed to the advancement of previously disadvantaged communities, particularly in rural areas and townships through the implementation of the Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) programme. The company is AAA rated by the South African National Accreditation System.
